The Ides of Gaming is a free monthly game day hosted by the Southern Arizona Gamers Association (SAGA) that takes place at the Espresso Art cafe (a block from the University of Arizona campus).
If you're interested in playing board games, card games, family games, roleplaying games or video games—or finding other people who are interested—please come spend Saturday afternoon with us in a safe and friendly environment for gaming.
SAGA provides free drinks, free games, and even a prize giveaway every month, so come check out the fun for yourself!

Hundreds of years ago, a military dictator was assassinated to perserve Roman democracy. We celebrate this event by playing games with our friends and family! More importantly, SAGA believes in the very positive influence gaming provides to the greater community: fellowship, intellectual growth, and family-friendly entertainment.

It is funded by the charitable donations by many local businesses and by several publishing companies in the hobby games industry.  Where is Ides?
One block from the University of Arizona campus!
The Ides of Gaming is conveniently located in the upstairs community room at Espresso Art, 944 East University Boulevard, Tucson AZ.
Espresso Art is known for having an excellent selection of coffee, tea and tasty snacks. With dozens of other affordable restaraunts literally within walking distance, gamers are never without a good meal to fuel the fun. Parking is free on Saturdays along the street and in the nearby parking lots and garages, but come early for a good spot! When is Ides?
The 3rd Saturday of the month!
The Ides of Gaming always takes place on the third Saturday of each month.
The event runs from noon until 6pm for gaming; some gamers come early to get a good seat while many others stay later enjoying the company of new friends. Typically, we all go out for dinner afterwards and check out the latest sci-fi movie release at the theatres.
